COVID-19 Health & Safety Update

On March 19, 2020, Governor Newsom issued Executive Order N-33-20 directing all residents immediately to heed current State public health directives to stay home, except as needed to maintain continuity of operations of essential critical infrastructure sectors and additional sectors as the State Public Health Officer may designate as critical to protect health and well-being of all Californians.

In accordance with this order, cannabis has been declared "essential" under Healthcare & Public Health and for the time being, Moonflower will continue to operate with state and local approval.

New Delivery Standards

Drivers will not be shaking or touching hands with customers.
Drivers may wear gloves, especially when handling cash and packing orders inside the facility.
Drivers will stand with a large distance between themselves and the customer when handing off the order.
Drivers have hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes for use between each delivery.
Drivers will be signing the phones for customers so you don’t have to touch the screen.
All team members are frequently washing their hands throughout the day!
We are increasing the frequency of cleaning and sanitization of surfaces in our facility.

Do I need a medical card to order from Moonflower?

No, you just need to be 21+ to order from Moonflower. If you are 18+ you need a medical cannabis recommendation from a doctor. You can get one from our partners here.

Where does Moonflower deliver?

Moonflower delivers to Marin and Sonoma County. You can find out which cities we serve listed here.

What are your delivery minimums?

Delivery is always FREE, but we require orders to meet certain minimums by subtotal. You can find our minimums here.

When do you deliver to Sonoma County?

Currently we deliver to four cities in Sonoma County; Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Cotati, and Santa Rosa. We deliver every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday between the hours of 11am-2pm. Sonoma County orders must be placed by 9am on scheduled delivery days for same-day delivery. We’ll be expanding into more Sonoma County cities soon!

Can Moonflower deliver to my workplace or favorite hang out spot?

Yes of course, cannabis is legal my friends. We can deliver to any address except for public parks, K-12 schools, or government agencies.

How long does it take to get my delivery?

Marin County orders can expect delivery within 15-60 minutes (depending on traffic and location). Sonoma County orders can expect delivery during the scheduled 2-hour window on selected days.

What documents are needed for identification?

Customers must present a valid government-issued ID or Passport for age verification. Patients under the age of 21 must provide a valid cannabis recommendation from a licensed CA doctor.

What taxes are added to cannabis?

The State of California requires a 15% cannabis excise tax. The City of San Rafael requires a 4% cannabis business tax for retailers. Both the state excise tax and city tax are already built in to the prices shown on our menu.  You can expect to pay regular sales tax upon check out.

What types of discounts does Moonflower offer?

Moonflower offers 10% off every order for veterans and seniors 65+.

What forms of payment does Moonflower accept?

Moonflower is cash only at this time.

What are the daily purchase limits?

Recreational customers can purchase up to 28-grams of flower and 8-grams of cannabis concentrate. Medical patients can purchase up to 8-ounces of flower.

Is Moonflower a state-licensed delivery service?

Yes! Moonflower is permitted in the city of San Rafael and licensed through the state. Our license number is C9-0000247-LIC.
